Qualifications:
oMust complete the agency's employment process.
oMust be at least 18 years of age.
oMust exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, and understand consumer confidentiality.
oMust be able to follow directions, and work as a team.
oMust have reliable transportation to and from assignments.
oMust pass drug screenDuties:
oPlanning and preparing meals (some with dietary restriction)oHousekeeping includes vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, laundry and bed linens.
oProviding companionship, and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)oAccompanying the consumer to appointments (If needed).
oGrocery shopping, or other errands when needed (If approved.
)oPerform any personal care for the consumer as needed.
oAssist with ambulation(walking) when consumer uses mechanical aids such as a walker.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
