Construction Dispatcher - Mercer, PA - contract to hire
Job Description
Construction Logistics/Materials Coordinator position to receive and process requests from the field operations (for heavy equipment and materials from the yard etc.) This is a 6 month contract to hire position. Competitive hourly rate.
Job Requirements
The qualified candidate will:
- understand logistics of material request processing
- have dispatch and permitting experience
- working in conjunction with the General Superintendent/Equipment Manager/Plant Manager regularly
- be able to juggle many tasks at once and stay organized
- be familiar with computers
- have permitting knowledge for Heavy/Wide Loads
- have good negotiating and people skills
- purchasing experience a plus
